(Jmt Pupils and Voluntreers Enertaining the Elders)
As a way of educating on the importance of caring for the elderly as well as a means of extending a helping hand, the JMT Elderly Support provides food, clothes, entertainment, sanitary service, spiritual and psychological support to the elderly through the word of God and counseling. Once every school term, children, staff and parents of the school pay visits to the Chibolya Old People’s Home in Mufulira to render these services.
Chibolya Old People’s Home is a government facilitate managed by the Department of Social Welfare. JMT renders this assistance to the government of the Republic of Zambia as a contribution to the community in which it operates.
