Our Vision

The vision of Jack Moffat Trust is an empowered, literate and HIV/AIDS free future generation capable of carrying forward Africa’s and the world’s development agenda.

Our Mission Statement

Jack Moffat Trust exists to lay a firm foundation for children by providing them with quality education in line with the Millennium Development Goals, prevent further spread of HIV/AIDS among children who are infected or affected and strengthen community response to the pandemic through sensitization campaigns as well as alleviate poverty in the community. 

Our Objectives

  1. Provide quality education to children at all levels through learning activities and experiences that are tailored without discrimination and stereotypes of any kind.

  2. To mitigate the impact of HIV/AIDS and poverty through sensitization campaigns and rendering material support to orphaned and vulnerable children and the elderly persons in the community

Our Strategies

  1. Provide conducive learning environment including adequate facilities.

  2. Provide good learning and teaching materials, computer laboratories and qualified teaching staff

  3. Provide free education and educational materials for identified impoverished children.

  4. Provide HIV/AIDS education for youths and the community through art and drama performances by pupils.

  5. Involve children in directly rendering cleaning services and providing food, clothing, bedding and medicines to elderly persons in the community (e.g. regular visitations to Chibolya Old People’s Homes).
